Baked Spicy Fries

Crisp and spicy, these fries are great served up with burgers.

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 large or 4 small baking potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 large clove fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon pepper

Procedure

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Cut potatoes into wedges.
  3. Mix olive oil, cayenne pepper, chili powder, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss in potatoes and mix well.
  5. Place on parchment lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until golden brown.
